Among the distinguishing features of the bakery are the inviting colors that always lift the spirit, no matter the state of things outside in the environment or inside you. Together with this welcome, we provide a delectably satisfying aroma inside and outside on the street, with our made-from-scratch policy. The most important feature that distinguishes us from traditional American baking is that much less sugar is used. It is more the European-style of baking. We use only unbleached flour, or whole-grain flours for our specialty breads.

In addition to the cookies, pastries, and cakes, we make the French bread roll, traditionally called "bolillo" in Mexico. We use this to make our delicious and satisfying sandwiches. We make other international sweets, too, and will constantly be adding new products.

In the café area, one can sit and enjoy a peaceful break with either our "pan dulce" and a cup of our richly flavorful coffee, House Recipe Mexican hot chocolate, or a sandwich at any time of day we are open. The space can also be used for meetings and small gatherings.

Our staff comes from all over the Americas as well as Asia. Our customers include native Nashvillians, as well as those from Spanish-speaking America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia, many who are new residents to Nashville.
